Father/Bride Dance

The Father/Bride Dance is the time when the bride and her father get a special moment alone on the dance floor.  When selecting music for this transition, the bride traditionally selects a song with words that reflect a special message to her father.  Or the reverse can be done...a message from the father to the bride.  In the situation where the bride's father is deceased, the bride may elect to dance with her grandfather, brother, uncle or someone she has a special relationship with.  It is also appropriate to have an additional Father/Bride Dance for with a stepfather, if desired. A combined Father/Bride and Mother/Groom Dance (FBMG) may be requested in place of the two separate dances.

Below is a list of Father/Bride Dance songs/artists to give you some ideas.  For more selections, search for "Father Bride Dance" on the internet.
