Yep...I'm a FEMALE DJ...what gave you the first clue...the "girly" pink and brown all over my website? A female touch...that's the first thing that's different about my services. Men dominate the DJ industry, and most have a stereotypical way of doing things. I describe it as the "Adam Sandler Wedding Singer" type of format...over the top, loud and brassy....like the photo below...get the picture? I'm not saying it's wrong...just that it's not for everyone. There is a different, more classy way to do it!
But having a female DJ doesn't necessarily guarantee things will be different. Most female DJs are trained by male DJs and they often repeat the pattern they've seen modeled. Male DJs also hire other DJs to "duplicate" themselves to expand their businesses and increase their profits...that's the traditional male entreprenerial system...again, nothing wrong with it, and often very lucrative. But as a women entrepreneur, I sink my heart and soul into my "creation," customizing my services to be unique and fill the specific needs of my clients.
