Bride & Groom's Song Requests

I ask all my brides and grooms to provide me with a list of about 6-10 songs that they really like to DANCE to. This helps me learn more about your personal music styles and personalities.  When creating this list, please be sure to indentify "dance" songs rather than songs you like to listen to...these are usually two totally different lists.  Don't worry about listing the favorite "novelty" songs that are popular at a dance...just specific songs that the two of you really enjoy dancing to that reflect the time periods you went to high school or college and did most of your dancing. 

I have found that the best pattern for a successful dance is to allow me, the experienced DJ, the opportunity to respond to your guests.  If you give me a strict playlist and your crowd does not respond, it makes it very difficult to ensure your guests enjoy their experience.  Remember, I do this almost every weekend and see what does and doesn't work for the majority of crowds, plus we are all working very hard to specifically tailor the music for your special night!
